Dr. Ingo Titze receives the deRoaldes Award for Achievement in Laryngology and Rhinology
The Utah Center for Vocology is proud to share that our senior scientist, Dr. Ingo Titze, has been honored with the highest award from the American Laryngological Association (ALA). Established in 1907 with a donation from Dr. A.W. deRoaldes, then President of the ALA . The deRoaldes Award is presented to an individual in recognition of outstanding accomplishments in the field of Laryngology and Rhinology. This is the highest honor that is awarded by the ALA.
Typically awarded to physician (MD) researchers, Dr. Ingo Titze, Senior Scientist at the Utah Center for Vocology (UCV), joins a small group of PhDs in voice science to receive this honor. The award was presented at the annual President’s Reception at the annual meeting of the ALA in Pheonix, Arizona on April 22, 2026.
