Miranda Wright, MM, MS, CCC-SLP—teaching assistant for UCV's Summer Vocology Institute—also presented a poster with Krishna Sundar, MD, Nelson Roy, PhD, CCC-SLP, Akiko Okifuji, PhD, Emerald Doll, MS, CCC-SLP, and Julie Barkmeier-Kraemer, PhD, CCC-SLP, titled "Anxiety as a Factor in Treatment Outcomes for Chronic Refractory Cough." The annual Fall Voice Conference is designed to encourage and educate professionals on a multi-disciplinary approach to the management of vocal disorders. The focus of the 2021 conference was the clinical care of patients with voice-related difficulties and how clinical and basic science research guide clinical care.
